Anti-GMPS Antibody

Raised in rabbit as a polyclonal reagent targeting GMPS (GMP synthetase), the enzyme that catalyzes the ATP-dependent amidation of xanthosine monophosphate to guanosine monophosphate in the de novo purine biosynthesis pathway. Validated applications include Western blot analysis of endogenous GMPS expression in cell and tissue lysates, and immunohistochemistry on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded sections. The antibody was raised against a human GMPS immunogen and cross-reacts with the mouse and rat orthologs, supporting comparative work across mammalian models and primary human samples.
