Anti-GM-CSF Antibody [59]

From Antibodies.com, this Mouse monoclonal antibody (clone 59) is raised against Granulocyte Macrophage Colony Stimulating Factor (GM-CSF). It is of the IgG1 isotype, unconjugated, and supplied as a lyophilised preparation. The reagent is validated for ELISA and Western Blot applications and has been confirmed to react with human samples.

Specificity has been established against both natural and recombinant human GM-CSF, with the immunogen being purified recombinant human GM-CSF. The antibody does not recognise M-CSF, G-CSFR, IL-8, IL-16, IL-1ß, TGF-ß1 or TNF-a. Purity is achieved by Protein G affinity chromatography, and the lyophilised product is formulated from a 0.01M Phosphate Buffered Saline solution at pH 7.2.

For use, the preparation should be reconstituted with double distilled water; final concentration is reconstitution dependent. The product is shipped at 4°C and, upon delivery, should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
