Anti-GM-CSF Antibody [489]

From Antibodies.com, this Mouse monoclonal antibody (clone 489) is raised against Granulocyte Macrophage Colony Stimulating Factor (GM-CSF) and is reactive with Human samples. It is of the IgG2a isotype and supplied unconjugated.

Validated for ELISA, the antibody recognises both natural and recombinant human GM-CSF, with purified recombinant human GM-CSF used as the immunogen. Cross-reactivity testing shows it does not recognise M-CSF, G-CSFR, IL-8, IL-16, IL-1ß, TGF-ß1 and TNF-a.

The product is supplied lyophilised from a 0.01M Phosphate Buffered Saline solution at pH 7.2, purified by Protein G affinity chromatography. It is shipped at 4°C and, upon delivery, should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles. Reconstitution is with double distilled water; concentration is reconstitution dependent.
