Mouse monoclonal antibody clone 429, raised against human Granulocyte Macrophage Colony Stimulating Factor (GM-CSF) and supplied by Antibodies.com as a 100 µg lyophilised aliquot in a single-use vial. The unconjugated IgG1 reagent is validated for ELISA and Western blot workflows and binds specifically to the human cytokine target, supporting studies of hematopoietic growth factor signalling, myeloid cell differentiation, and inflammatory cytokine profiling in research samples.

GM-CSF is a 23 kDa secreted glycoprotein encoded by the CSF2 gene on chromosome 5q31, where it acts on progenitor cells to drive proliferation of neutrophils, eosinophils, and macrophages. Anti-GM-CSF clone 429 is suitable as a capture or detection reagent in cytokine quantification protocols and for tracking protein expression in cell lysates by Western blot. Because the antibody is unconjugated, it can be paired with reporter-labelled secondary antibodies such as HRP, biotin, or fluorophore conjugates, or matched to a chosen detection platform without the constraints of a pre-conjugated format.

Reconstitution is straightforward: the lyophilised pellet is brought up in sterile PBS or deionised water to a working stock concentration, after which small aliquots are recommended to limit freeze-thaw cycles. The lyophilised product is held at -20 °C for long-term stability. Intended for research use only and reactive with the human GM-CSF target.
