Anti-GLUT3 Antibody

Raised in rabbit and supplied by Antibodies.com as an affinity-purified polyclonal reagent, this GLUT3 antibody is designed to detect endogenous levels of total glucose transporter type 3 (GLUT3 / SLC2A3) protein. The immunogen is a synthesized peptide derived from the human GLUT3 sequence, and the antibody is provided unconjugated at a concentration of 1.0 mg/mL in 50 µL. It is formulated as rabbit IgG in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. The reagent has been validated for ELISA, Western blot (WB), immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) on human samples, making it suitable for studies of neuronal and placental glucose uptake as well as broader cancer-metabolism research. The antibody is shipped at 4 °C; on receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity. As an unconjugated polyclonal host IgG, it is readily compatible with secondary-detection systems of the user's choice, including HRP- or fluorophore-labelled anti-rabbit IgG reagents for WB, IHC and ICC/IF workflows.
