Anti-Glut 4 (R271) Antibody

It is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) and reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples. The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 250-300 of human Glut 4, and the reagent detects endogenous levels of Glut4 protein.

Supplied as a liquid at 1 mg/ml in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) with 15 mM sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, the antibody has a reported molecular weight range of 45 to 60 kDa. It is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, with a stated purity of greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
