Anti-GluR1 (S857) Antibody

Offered by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody is raised against GluR1, using a synthetic peptide immunogen corresponding to amino acids 830-880 of Human GluR1. The unconjugated reagent is supplied at 1 mg/ml in Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2.

Validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunofluorescence (IF/ICC) applications, the antibody reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples. It specifically detects endogenous levels of GluR1 protein and recognises an epitope at residue S857, with a predicted molecular weight of approximately 102 kDa. The antibody is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, achieving a purity of greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
