Anti-GluR1 (phospho-S863) Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets GluR1 phosphorylated at Serine 863 and is validated for use in Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications. It is unconjugated and reacts with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples. The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human GluR1 around the phosphorylation site of Serine 863, and the antibody specifically detects endogenous levels of GluR1 protein only when phosphorylated at Ser863.

Supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide (approx. pH 7.2), the antibody has a molecular weight of approximately 102 kDa. It was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen, with purity greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
