Description
Rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com raised against GluR1 phosphorylated at Serine 849. The antibody is unconjugated, supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, and is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC). It reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human GluR1 around the phosphorylation site of Serine 849, and the reagent detects endogenous GluR1 only when phosphorylated at Ser849. The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen, with reported purity > 95% by SDS-PAGE. The target protein migrates at approximately 102 kDa.
