Anti-GluR-1 Antibody

Raised in rabbit and affinity-purified by epitope chromatography, this polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com is designed to detect endogenous levels of the GluR-1 (GRIA1) AMPA receptor subunit. The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to a region surrounding the non-phosphorylation site at Ser849 of human GluR-1, and the antibody is supplied as 50 µl of liquid formulation at 1 mg/ml in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide. It is unconjugated and validated for use in Western blot, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence and ELISA workflows on human, mouse and rat samples. For best preservation of activity the vial should be stored at –20 °C and protected from repeated freeze/thaw cycles, where the manufacturer recommends continuous use at that temperature.
