Anti-GLUL Antibody

Rabbit polyclonal antibody to Glutamine Synthetase (GLUL), supplied by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated liquid reagent. The antibody is raised in rabbit, is of the IgG isotype, has polyclonal clonality, and has been KO validated for use in Western blot, immunohistochemistry and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence applications.

The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1–373 of human Glutamine Synthetase (NP_001028228.1), and the target protein has a reported molecular weight of 42 kDa. Reactivity has been demonstrated against Human, Mouse and Rat samples. Recommended starting dilutions are WB: 1:500–1:1,000, IHC: 1:50–1:200 and ICC/IF: 1:50–1:200.

The reagent is supplied in Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.3, with 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide, and is purified by affinity chromatography. It is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at –20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided. The concentration is reported as lot specific.
