Anti-GLRX Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this polyclonal primary antibody targets Glutaredoxin-1 (GLRX), a small redox enzyme also known as GRX, Thioltransferase-1, or TTase-1, which plays a central role in cellular thiol-disulfide exchange. The reagent is raised in rabbit and purified by affinity chromatography against a recombinant human GLRX immunogen, allowing it to detect the endogenous total GLRX protein in Human, Mouse, and Rat samples. It is supplied at 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µL volume as an unconjugated preparation in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol. Validated applications include Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), making it suitable for a broad range of detection workflows from western membranes to fixed-cell imaging. The antibody is shipped at 4 °C; for long-term stability it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
