Anti-GLRX Antibody

Raised in rabbit against the human GLRX (Glutaredoxin-1) protein, this unconjugated polyclonal antibody is supplied by Antibodies.com as 100 µl of a 1 mg/ml stock formulated in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol.

GLRX is a cytosolic, glutathione-dependent oxidoreductase that catalyzes reversible disulfide reduction and sits at a hub of cellular redox control, implicated in oxidative-stress defense, iron-sulfur cluster biogenesis, and apoptotic signaling.

The reagent detects endogenous GLRX in Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows and has been validated for reactivity against human, mouse, and rat samples.

For short-term use, store the vial refrigerated at 4°C; for longer-term storage, aliquot and freeze at -20°C to limit freeze-thaw damage. The azide-containing buffer is compatible with standard HRP- and fluorophore-conjugated secondary antibodies, making the reagent straightforward to drop into existing detection pipelines.
