Anti-GLP2R Antibody

Antibodies.com provides this rabbit polyclonal reagent specific for the glucagon-like peptide 2 receptor (GLP2R), a class B G protein-coupled receptor concentrated along the gastrointestinal tract, where it transduces the trophic and cytoprotective effects of GLP-2 on intestinal epithelium and on enteric neurons. The antibody is supplied as 50 µl of unconjugated IgG and is validated for Western blot detection of endogenous receptor in human and mouse samples.

Because the polyclonal response covers multiple epitopes, the reagent is well suited to translational work comparing human biopsy material with mouse models of short bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease, and chemotherapy- or radiation-induced mucosal injury. In immunoblotting of membrane-enriched intestinal lysates, the antibody enables direct comparison of receptor abundance across genotypes, treatment arms, or disease states relevant to GLP-2 biology.
