Anti-GLO1 Antibody

Supplied by Antibodies.com as a research-grade primary antibody, this rabbit polyclonal reagent targets glyoxalase I (GLO1), the enzyme also known as lactoylglutathione lyase that catalyzes formation of S-lactoyl-glutathione from methylglyoxal and reduced glutathione. Raised against recombinant full-length human GLO1 and affinity-purified by epitope-specific chromatography to greater than 95% purity by SDS-PAGE, the polyclonal antibody is unconjugated and presented as a 1 mg/ml liquid in PBS containing 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. It is sold in a 50 µl volume and is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications, detecting the endogenous ~21 kDa GLO1 protein in human, mouse and rat samples. The host species is rabbit, clonality is polyclonal, and the target corresponds to GLO1, with documented synonyms including Aldoketomutase, Glx I, Glyoxalase I, Ketone-aldehyde mutase, Lactoylglutathione lyase, Methylglyoxalase and S-D-lactoylglutathione methylglyoxal lyase.
