GLI1 is a C2H2-type zinc-finger transcription factor that acts as the terminal effector of the Hedgehog signaling cascade, translating Smoothened activation into transcriptional programs controlling cell fate, proliferation, and tissue patterning. This unconjugated polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com was raised in rabbit and is validated for western blot detection of the endogenous GLI1 protein across human, rat, and mouse samples, making it useful for studies of Hedgehog-driven processes such as basal cell carcinoma, medulloblastoma, rhabdomyosarcoma, and embryonic patterning. The antibody is supplied as 100 µl of a 1 mg/ml stock in phosphate buffered saline containing 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.3, ready to dilute into standard blotting workflows. For short-term use, store at 4 °C; for longer term, aliquot and freeze at -20 °C to limit freeze-thaw cycles of the active fraction. The product is intended for research use only and is not supplied as a therapeutic or diagnostic reagent.
