Anti-GLCTK Antibody

Supplied through Antibodies.com as a primary research antibody, this rabbit polyclonal reagent targets the glycosyltransferase-related enzyme encoded by the GLCTK gene. The 50 µl unit is provided as an unconjugated IgG preparation at 1.0 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺), pH 7.4, with 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as stabilisers. The antibody was raised against a synthetic peptide derived from the internal region of human GLCTK and affinity-purified by epitope-specific chromatography, allowing it to recognise endogenous levels of total GLCTK protein across human, mouse and rat samples. Validated applications cover Western blotting, immunohistochemistry on tissue sections, and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence on cultured cells. For routine handling, vials are shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted upon arrival and stored at −20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
