Anti-GK Antibody

Rabbit polyclonal antibody targeting Glycerol kinase (GK), supplied as an unconjugated IgG preparation from Antibodies.com. The antibody is raised in rabbit and is reactive with human, mouse and rat samples. It is validated for Western blot (WB) applications, with manufacturer data also supporting use in immunohistochemistry (IHC).

The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 422–559 of human Glycerol kinase (GK), referenced under accession NP_001191948.1. The target protein has a reported molecular weight of 61 kDa. The antibody is provided in liquid form in Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.3, with 50% glycerol and 0.01% thiomersal, and has been affinity purified.

Recommended dilutions are WB: 1:500–1:2,000 and IHC: 1:50–1:200. The product is shipped at 4 °C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at −20 °C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
