Anti-GJA1 Antibody

Antibodies.com offers a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against GJA1, also known as Connexin 43. The reagent is an unconjugated IgG validated for Western blot (WB) applications. Reactivity is reported by Antibodies.com for human and mouse samples, while the manufacturer's data sheet additionally lists rat.

The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence within amino acids 283–382 of human Connexin 43 (NP_000156.1). The target protein has a molecular weight of 43 kDa. The antibody is provided as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.3, with 50% glycerol and 0.05% Proclin 300, and has been purified by affinity chromatography.

For Western blot the manufacturer recommends a working dilution of 1:500–1:1,000. The product is shipped at 4°C; on receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at −20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
