Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified reagent is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against a synthetic peptide derived from the C-terminal region of human GIT1 (G protein-coupled receptor kinase-interacting protein 1). Supplied at 50 µl per vial and formulated at 1.0 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ or Ca²⁺) at pH 7.4, with 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as stabilisers, the unconjugated IgG is intended for the detection of endogenous total GIT1 in human samples. Validated applications include Western blotting (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC), with representative data shown on Western blots of HeLa, Jurkat and HepG2 cell lysates and on paraffin-embedded human lung carcinoma tissue. The antibody is dispatched from the Antibodies.com facility in Cambridge, UK, with a typical lead time of four to six business days; on arrival it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles. Sold for research use only and not intended for diagnostic or therapeutic applications, this polyclonal reagent offers a robust tool for laboratories investigating GPCR signalling, focal adhesion dynamics and the regulatory roles of GIT1 in cytoskeletal remodelling.
