GIT1 (G protein-coupled receptor kinase interactor 1) is a multi-domain GTPase-activating protein central to cell adhesion, focal adhesion turnover, and receptor endocytosis downstream of G protein-coupled receptor signaling. Antibodies.com offers a rabbit polyclonal primary antibody raised against human GIT1, supplied as an unconjugated antiserum in a 100 µl vial suitable for direct labeling or use with standard secondary detection reagents in laboratory workflows.

Validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications, this polyclonal reagent detects endogenous GIT1 in human tissue sections and cultured cell lysates. Researchers use this antibody to investigate GIT1 involvement in neuronal synaptic organization, focal complex disassembly, cytoskeletal remodeling, and interactions with binding partners such as paxillin, PIX family exchange factors, and ARF GTPases.

Each vial contains 100 µl of polyclonal antiserum, with storage recommended at refrigerated temperatures to preserve antibody activity across multiple experiments. The unconjugated format supports flexible downstream labeling with HRP, biotin, or fluorophore conjugates depending on the experimental system.
