Anti-GIP Antibody

Offered by Antibodies.com as a primary antibody reagent, this rabbit polyclonal targets GIP. The antibody is unconjugated, of the IgG isotype, and reacts with human, mouse, and rat samples. It is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications.

The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein derived from human GIP; in one variant this corresponds to amino acids 22–153 of the human sequence (NP_004114.1). The target protein is reported at 17 kDa. Recommended working dilutions are WB: 1:100–1:500 and IHC: 1:50–1:200. The reagent is provided as a liquid formulation in phosphate-buffered saline containing glycerol and is purified by affinity chromatography.

The product is shipped at 4°C; upon arrival it should be aliquoted and stored at –20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
