Anti-Giardia lamblia (G. lamblia) Antibody

Sourced from Antibodies.com as a primary antibody reagent, this Goat polyclonal reagent is raised against the protozoan pathogen Giardia lamblia and recognises intact cysts of the parasite. Provided as a 500 µL liquid aliquot of the purified IgG fraction in an unconjugated format, it is recommended for ELISA, immunofluorescence (IFA/ICC) and Western blot (WB) workflows and reacts specifically with Giardia lamblia preparations. The host species is goat, the clonality is polyclonal (IgG fraction purified by antigen-affinity methods), the immunogen is purified Giardia lamblia cysts, and the antibody is supplied at approximately 4–5 mg/mL. Typical working dilutions reported for comparable reagents are 1:20–1:200 for ICC/IF and WB and 1:200–1:1000 for ELISA. The antibody is shipped as a liquid in PBS-based buffer with sodium azide preservative and should be stored short term at 4 °C or aliquoted for –20 °C / –80 °C to avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles.
