The GHRHR (Growth Hormone-Releasing Hormone Receptor) is a G protein-coupled receptor predominantly expressed in anterior pituitary somatotrophs, where it mediates GHRH-driven cAMP signaling and downstream growth hormone release. This rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets a region of human GHRHR and cross-reacts with the mouse and rat orthologs, supporting translational studies in rodent GH-axis models as well as human cell lines and tissue.

Supplied in a 50 µL vial at 1 mg/mL in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, the unconjugated antibody is validated for Western blot detection of endogenous receptor expression and for immunofluorescence localization in fixed cells. Researchers commonly deploy it to probe somatotroph-lineage cultures, hypothalamic-pituitary tissue sections, and transfected overexpression systems used to map GHRH signaling, GH secretion, and somatotroph plasticity.

Aliquot upon first use to minimize freeze-thaw cycles; the glycerol-containing buffer guards against repeated handling. For longer-term storage, keep frozen and protected from light to preserve the unconjugated preparation.
