Anti-GHRH Antibody - Identical to Abcam (ab187512)

A polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com raised in rabbit and directed against GHRH. The unconjugated IgG reagent is validated for Western blot and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence applications. Reactivity is reported with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples. The product is supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.05% Proclin 300, and is purified by affinity chromatography.

The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence within amino acids 1–108 of human GHRH (NP_066567.1). The target molecular weight is given as 12 kDa. Recommended starting dilutions are WB: 1:500–1:1,000 and ICC/IF: 1:50–1:200. The reagent is shipped at 4 °C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at −20 °C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided. Concentration is lot specific.

Independent sequence and annotation records for GHRH indicate a predicted secreted protein with tissue-enriched expression in brain, mapped to chromosome 20.
