Anti-GGT1 Antibody

Produced by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent binds gamma-glutamyltransferase 1 (GGT1), the type II transmembrane enzyme that catalyzes transfer of the gamma-glutamyl moiety from glutathione to acceptor amino acids, dipeptides, and water. The antibody is supplied unconjugated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline containing 15 mM sodium azide at pH approximately 7.2, and is packaged as a 100 µl vial for short-term laboratory use. It has been validated for Western blot detection of the human, mouse, and rat GGT1 protein, supporting studies in renal and hepatic tissue, cell-based models of bile acid metabolism, and glutathione recycling research.

Store refrigerated between use, protect from light, and aliquot to limit freeze-thaw cycles that can compromise polyclonal preparations.
