Anti-GDI1 Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets GDP dissociation inhibitor 1 (GDI1, also called Rab GDI alpha), a cytosolic regulator of Rab-family GTPases that controls intracellular vesicle trafficking by slowing GDP release and blocking premature membrane re-association of Rabs. Because GDI1 is highly expressed in neuronal tissue and loss-of-function mutations in the encoding gene are linked to X-linked non-specific intellectual disability, the protein remains of active interest in neurobiology, synaptic vesicle recycling, and broader membrane-transport studies.

The antibody is supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, packaged as 100 µl per tube, and validated for western blot detection of human, mouse, and rat samples. The unconjugated format supports flexible pairing with HRP-, fluorophore-, or biotin-conjugated secondaries, and aliquoting on arrival is recommended to limit freeze-thaw cycles during long-term storage at -20°C.
