Targets Growth Differentiation Factor 8, a TGF-β superfamily member best known as myostatin, the secreted signaling protein that acts as a negative regulator of skeletal muscle mass in mammals. Raised in rabbit as a polyclonal reagent and supplied by Antibodies.com at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline containing 0.05% sodium azide at pH approximately 7.2, this unconjugated preparation is supplied as a 50 µl vial sized for immunohistochemistry workflows on formalin-fixed tissue sections.
