Anti-GDA Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com recognizes human guanine deaminase (GDA), a cytoplasmic enzyme that catalyzes the hydrolytic deamination of guanine to xanthine in the purine catabolism pathway. GDA is widely expressed in brain and liver tissue, and altered levels have been investigated in hepatoma cell models and in studies of purine-related neurological conditions, supporting its use as a marker for nucleotide metabolism research.
