Anti-GCSm-γ Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against the gamma subunit of the gamma-glutamylcysteine synthetase modifier (GCSm-γ) and is supplied as a 50 µl aliquot at a working concentration of 1 mg/ml. The preparation has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen — a synthesized peptide corresponding to the internal region of human GCSm-γ — and detects endogenous levels of the target protein. It is supplied unconjugated, in a liquid PBS buffer containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide, and the manufacturer recommends storage at -20 °C where it remains stable for up to one year. The antibody is validated for Western Blotting, Immunohistochemistry and ELISA, and its reactivity profile covers Human, Mouse, Rat and Monkey samples, making it suitable for cross-species studies of antioxidant-pathway and glutathione-biosynthesis research.
