Anti-GCNT7 Antibody

This polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit against the human glycosyltransferase GCNT7, an enzyme that transfers GlcNAc residues to the core 1 O-glycan structure, forming the branching beta 1,6-N-acetylglucosamine linkage characteristic of extended mucin-type glycans. The unconjugated antibody is supplied as 100 µl of liquid and is validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence on human samples. GCNT7 expression has been documented in epithelial tissues and is of research interest in studies of mucin biosynthesis, epithelial differentiation, and tumour-associated glycosylation changes, where altered branching of O-glycans contributes to modified cell-surface phenotype and is implicated in cancer cell behaviour.
