Anti-GCN5 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified rabbit polyclonal reagent targets GCN5 (also known as KAT2A), a histone acetyltransferase implicated in chromatin regulation and transcriptional control. The antibody is raised against a synthesized peptide derived from the C-terminal region of human GCN5 and specifically detects endogenous levels of the GCN5 protein. Supplied as a 50 µl liquid formulation at 1 mg/mL in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA, and 0.02% sodium azide, the preparation is unconjugated and of the IgG isotype, making it well suited for direct detection in standard immunoassays. Validated applications include ELISA, Western Blot (WB), and Immunohistochemistry (IHC), and the reagent has been confirmed to react with human and mouse samples. For short-term transit the vial is shipped at 4 °C; upon arrival it should be aliquoted and stored at −20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles minimized to preserve activity.
