Anti-GCK Antibody

Offered by Antibodies.com, this primary antibody is a rabbit polyclonal reagent raised against GCK (glucokinase). It is supplied as a liquid preparation.

The antibody was raised against a recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1–300 of human Glucokinase (GCK; NP_000153.1) and shows reactivity with human, mouse and rat samples. Recommended applications include western blot and immunofluorescence; for western blotting a working dilution of 1:500–1:2,000 is suggested, and supporting data are shown at 1:1,000 dilution with lysates loaded at 25 µg per lane and detection using an ECL Basic Kit (60 s exposure). The reagent is unconjugated, of IgG isotype, and has been affinity purified, with a reported molecular weight of 52 kDa.

The product is formulated in phosphate buffered saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide. It is shipped at 4 °C and, upon receipt, should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided. The reagent is intended for research use only and is not for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
