Anti-GCDH Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody targets GCDH (Glutaryl-CoA dehydrogenase), a mitochondrial enzyme reported to show enhanced expression in liver tissue. The unconjugated antibody is validated for Western blot applications and reacts with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples.

It was raised against a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 149–438 of human GCDH (NP_000150.1) and purified by affinity chromatography. The liquid formulation is supplied in Phosphate Buffered Saline at pH 7.3, containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide. The target protein has a reported molecular weight of 48 kDa.

For Western blotting, a recommended dilution range of 1:200–1:2,000 is suggested. The product is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C upon delivery, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided. One scientific validation image is referenced.
