Raised in rabbit against the Q258 region of human GATA4, this unconjugated polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is validated for immunohistochemistry on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissues. GATA4 is a zinc-finger transcription factor central to cardiac morphogenesis, gonadal differentiation, and endoderm-derived organ development, making this reagent useful in studies of heart development, sex determination pathways, and hepatic biology. The antibody recognizes human, mouse, and rat GATA4, enabling cross-species tissue comparisons in developmental and disease models. It is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline with 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, and the 100 µl pack size supports multiple staining experiments.
