GATA3 is a zinc-finger transcription factor of the GATA family that plays essential roles in immune cell differentiation, particularly in Th2 lymphocyte development, mammary gland morphogenesis, and urothelial differentiation.

The Antibodies.com rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes the human GATA3 protein and is validated for western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunofluorescence (IF) workflows. Supplied as an unconjugated 100 µl aliquot of rabbit antiserum, the reagent is intended for research use only and enables detection of endogenous GATA3 in fixed and frozen tissue sections as well as cell lysates.

In clinical pathology, GATA3 is a widely used immunohistochemical marker for distinguishing luminal breast carcinomas and for identifying urothelial carcinoma in diagnostic specimens. The polyclonal format offers recognition of multiple epitopes on the transcription factor, supporting robust signal across varied sample preparations, while the unconjugated presentation allows laboratories to pair the antibody with their preferred detection chemistries and fluorophore conjugations.
