Anti-GATA-4 Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com, raised against GATA-4 and validated for Western blot (WB) applications. The unconjugated reagent reacts with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples and detects endogenous levels of total GATA-4 protein.

The antibody was produced by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic peptide corresponding to the sequence around amino acids 434–438 (D-S-H-G-D) derived from human GATA-4, conjugated to KLH, and purified by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific peptide. It is supplied at a concentration of 1.0 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺), pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol.

The product is shipped at 4°C. Upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
