Anti-GATA-4 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified reagent is a Rabbit polyclonal antibody directed against GATA-4 (GATA4), the zinc-finger transcription factor implicated in cardiac and gonadal development. The antibody is supplied as a 50 µl liquid aliquot at 1 mg/mL in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide, and is unconjugated, with an IgG isotype for flexibility in downstream labelling. It was raised against a synthetic peptide derived from human GATA-4 around the non-phosphorylation site of S105 and detects endogenous levels of the GATA-4 protein. Validated applications include ELISA, Western blot (WB), immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) and immunohistochemistry (IHC), with cross-reactivity confirmed in Human, Mouse and Rat samples. For best stability the vial is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
