Anti-GATA-1 (phospho-S142) Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against GATA-1 phosphorylated at Serine 142 is offered by Antibodies.com. The unconjugated reagent is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, and has been validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry and immunoprecipitation. Reactivity has been confirmed against human, mouse and rat samples.

Specificity is directed against endogenous GATA-1 only when phosphorylated at Ser142. The immunogen was a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human GATA1 around the Serine 142 phosphorylation site. The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, with reported purity greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE. The target protein migrates at approximately 43 kDa.
