Anti-GATA-1 Antibody

Offered by Antibodies.com, the A34174 reagent is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against GATA-1 and validated for Western blotting (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), and ELISA. The antibody detects endogenous levels of GATA-1 protein and was generated using a synthetic peptide derived from the human GATA-1 sequence around the non-phosphorylation site of serine 142, then affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by epitope-specific affinity chromatography. It is supplied as a 50 µl liquid formulation in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA, and 0.02% sodium azide, at a concentration of 1 mg/mL, and is unconjugated with an IgG isotype. The host species is rabbit, the clonality is polyclonal, and the reagent shows cross-reactivity with human, mouse, and rat samples. For handling, the vial is shipped at 4 °C; on receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve performance.
