Anti-Gas6 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody targets human Gas6 (Growth Arrest-Specific protein 6), a secreted vitamin K-dependent ligand of the TAM receptor family that is widely studied in the context of cell survival, proliferation, and the phagocytic clearance of apoptotic cells. The reagent is supplied as a 50 µL aliquot at 1 mg/mL in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA, and 0.02% sodium azide, and has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography against an epitope-specific immunogen corresponding to an internal region of human Gas6. The unconjugated polyclonal IgG is validated for Western blotting, ELISA, and immunohistochemistry on human samples, where it detects endogenous levels of the Gas6 protein. Vials are shipped refrigerated at 4 °C; on receipt, the antibody should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
