GAPDH (glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase) is a 37 kDa housekeeping enzyme involved in glycolysis and is widely used as an internal loading control in western blot normalization. This unconjugated rabbit IgG antibody from Antibodies.com detects endogenous GAPDH in human, mouse, and rat samples, producing a consistent band at the expected molecular weight. Supplied as 100 ug in liquid format, it is validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, immunocytochemistry, and flow cytometry. For optimal stability, aliquot the reagent upon arrival and store at -20 degrees C, avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles. The polyclonal format recognizes multiple epitopes on the target, providing robust signal across diverse sample types.
