Anti-GAP43 (phospho-S41) Antibody

From Antibodies.com comes a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against GAP43 phosphorylated at Serine 41. The unconjugated reagent is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, and has been validated for WB, IHC and IF applications in human, mouse and rat samples.

The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human GAP43 around the phosphorylation site of Serine 41. The antibody specifically detects endogenous levels of GAP-43 protein only when phosphorylated at Ser41, with observed molecular weights of approximately 25 and 48 kDa. It was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen, achieving a purity greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
