Anti-GANP Antibody

Manufactured and distributed by Antibodies.com, this research-grade reagent is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against GANP (also known as MCM3AP/MAP80), produced by immunizing rabbits with a synthesized peptide derived from the human GANP sequence and subsequently affinity-purified by affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen. The antibody is supplied at a concentration of 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µl volume, formulated as Rabbit IgG in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺), pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant. It is unconjugated and validated for use in Western blotting (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), with confirmed reactivity against human and mouse samples. The reagent detects endogenous levels of total GANP protein, making it suitable for studies of germinal-centre associated nuclear protein function and MCM3 acetyltransferase activity. For handling, the vial is shipped at 4 °C; upon arrival it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
