Anti-Galectin-3 (N174) Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody targets Galectin-3 (N174) for use in Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence applications. The unconjugated reagent is raised in rabbit and validated for reactivity with human, mouse, and rat samples.

Specificity is directed against endogenous levels of the Galectin-3 protein. The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 140–190 of human Galectin-3. The antibody has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen, with a stated purity of > 95% by SDS-PAGE. The expected molecular weight of the target is ~ 30 kDa.

The reagent is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 15 mM sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2.
