Anti-Galectin 3 Antibody [5C21]

This Mouse monoclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against Galectin 3 (clone 5C21) and is supplied as a liquid preparation at 1 mg/ml. It is unconjugated, of the IgG1 isotype, and reacts with Human, Rat and Mouse samples. The reagent has been validated for Western blot (WB), immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) and immunohistochemistry (IHC).

The immunogen is recombinant full-length Galectin 3, expressed in and purified from E. coli, and the antibody is purified by immunogen affinity chromatography. It is formulated in Phosphate Buffered Saline containing 50% glycerol and 5 mM sodium azide. The target protein has a molecular weight of approximately 30 kDa. Recommended dilutions are 1:2,000 for WB and 1:1,000 for both ICC/IF and IHC. The product is shipped at 4°C; on delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
