Anti-GALC Antibody

Rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against GALC, unconjugated and supplied as a liquid preparation by Antibodies.com. The antibody is of the IgG isotype, has been validated for use in Western blotting (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), and reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 40–300 of human GALC (NP_000144.2). The target protein has a molecular weight of 77 kDa. The antibody is formulated in Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.3, containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide, and is purified by affinity purification. Concentration is reported as lot specific.

Recommended starting dilutions are 1:500–1:2,000 for WB, 1:50–1:200 for IHC and 1:50–1:200 for ICC/IF. The product is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C upon delivery, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
