Anti-GAD-65/67 (D572) Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets GAD-65/67 at the D572 epitope and is supplied by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated reagent validated for Western blotting (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunofluorescence (IF), including ICC/IF. It is raised against a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 540–590 of human GAD-65 and, according to the manufacturer, detects endogenous levels of both GAD65 and GAD67 protein. The antibody is reactive with human, mouse and rat samples and is provided at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2. It was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, with a stated purity of greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE, and recognises proteins of approximately 65 and 67 kDa.
