Anti-GABAA Rβ1 (phospho-S434) Antibody

Offered by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody targets the GABAA Rβ1 receptor when phosphorylated at Serine 434. The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from the human GABAA Rβ1 sequence surrounding the Ser434 phosphorylation site, and the reagent specifically recognises endogenous levels of GABAA Rβ1 protein only when phosphorylated at Ser434. It is unconjugated and formulated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2. The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, achieving a purity of greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE, and the target migrates at approximately 54 kDa. It is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry and has been verified to react with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples.
