Anti-Gab 1 (phospho-Y627) Antibody

Supplied by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody recognises Gab 1 only when phosphorylated at tyrosine 627. It is validated for Western blot (WB) and reacts with Human and Rat samples. The reagent is unconjugated and is provided at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, approximately pH 7.2.

The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human Gab 1 around the phosphorylation site of tyrosine 627, and the antibody specifically detects endogenous levels of Gab 1 protein only when phosphorylated at Tyr627. Reported molecular weights are approximately 76 and 110 kDa. The antibody is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, with purity greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
